True Burlesque Nita Louise Burlesque Ghost

True Burlesque Nita Louise was stripping in Boston in the late 1930s, but I don't know her real name.  There was more work on the West coast during the war,  so Nita Louise danced her way to the coast and parked at the Shanghai Cafe in San Francisco in the early 1940s.  Later she entertained soldiers on their way to the Pacific in San Diego in a show called the Big Girl Review.  As you can see, Nita was "one of the most beautiful girls in show business" but that's about all there is.   A wonderful image of Nita can be seen HERE in the University of Washington Special collection of J. Willis Sayre photographs.
