True Burlesque Dancer who Got Her Wish Jean Adair The Mystery Woman
True Burlesque wishes come true for this dancer, who wanted to remain a mystery. Guess what? 60 years later, she IS. Still a mystery is the masked, busty dancer who knocked them dead on the circuit circa 1950 and 1951. Jean, or Jeann in a few places danced with a mask, but didn't hide most of her charms. The Mystery Woman is revealed below, but still she is unknown. Marilyn Monroe wanted to use it as her stage name (Yep...she could have been Jean Adair...) but didn't.
